In the industry since 2009, Mckenzie Eddy’s passion for educating began while attending cosmetology school at the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle. She enjoyed seeing things "click" for other students and the progress they’d make when that would happen. Believing that a stylist should never stop learning she spent the next seven years mastering her own skills and maturing as a stylist with classes at Moroccon Oil, Goldwell, Davines, and Michael O'Rourke at the Institute of Courage. In 2016, Mckenzie met Sally at an S•R Education 3-Day Women’s Comprehensive class in Renton, WA and fell in love with S•R Education as a whole. Sally's techniques as well as her approach to teaching just made sense. After taking additional S•R Education classes Mckenzie began the Teacher Training & Mentorship Program. Armed with a full arsenal of S•R Education techniques and Sally's mentorship she finally felt prepared to confidently teach others. Mckenzie’s academy is located just across the water from Seattle in the small but up and coming neighborhood of Manette in Bremerton. Mckenzie sees her S•R Education Academy as an opportunity to share her passion and knowledge with stylists from all over the Pacific northwest and provide them with high-quality, hair education.
