SR Academy offers advanced hair cutting courses that are suitable for students at every skill and experience level. This includes recent cosmetology school graduates, junior assistants, experienced stylists, and salon owners.

Overview of Courses

We offer a wide range of course types including group classes, one-on-one classes, seminars, online instruction, mentorship programs, and academy courses. These sessions feature hands-on training and theory lectures, led by Sally Rogerson and her skilled team of senior educators. During these courses, you will build a professional catalog of high-quality cuts that you can use to grow your clientele and thrive in high-paced salon environments. We also teach of a variety of fundamental skills and techniques, including the following:

Layering
Freehand
Correct hand positioning
Proper body positioning
Sectioning
Scissor and clipper over comb work
Use of tools

Class lengths can last anywhere from one day to up to several weeks. We also offer 3 or 12 Month Teacher Training and Mentorship Programs. These comprehensive programs include personal coaching sessions with Sally Rogerson, in-person training sessions, and online training courses.
